Autoclav1.1 - Coral Bleaching EP [Audiophob]

Put out on the cassette circuit via Mühlheim's Audiophob label on August 23rd, 2k4 as well is Tony Young's a.k.a. Autoclav1.1's "Coral Bleaching EP", the accompanying sister release to his "Diamondbackviper" album released on the same day. With this additional four track EP we see Autoclav1.1 providing a floating take on perfectly arranged Ambient structures hovering beyond the realm of space and time with the opening cut "White Into Amber" whereas the darker, stripped down title track indulges in moody, minimalist Dark Ambient melancholia and frosty soundscapes blown over from afar, crossing barren lands and icey planes before being captured on tape. Furthermore "Farewell Glaciers" weighs in solemn, inward-looking and surely nocturnal Ambient movements before the closing cut that is "Eventide" is as brittle, glistening and beautiful as Ambient might get in the second half of 2k24. Highly recommended for all fans of cassette-based Deep Listening Music, this.
