Released via the ever growing Sound In Silence imprint as their cat.no. 103 on June 26th, 2k23 is "Four Forgetting", the second album recorded for the label by San Francisco-based producer Brock Van Wey under his long standing moniker that is Bvdub. Rolling out a total of four long form compositions over the course of 79 minutes Bvdub presents a selection of large scale cinematic - in parts even (Neo)Cosmic - Ambient landscapes garnished with echoes of echoes of vocals and washed out DreamPop buried deep within the mix, elements of 90s ChillOut x IDM, longing, emotional string layers as well as enchanted ethereal atmospheres, thundering slow-motion beats and many great things beyond that which make "Four Forgetting" a highly touching and emotional journey which feels way shorter than it actually is.
