Reviriego / Peyghambari / Trilla - Möhit [Gusstaff Records Promo]
The second album set to be released via Polish imprint Gusstaff Records on January 15th, 2k21 is "Möhit", the first collaborational album realized by Alex Reviriego and Vasco Trilla in conjunction with Iranian clarinet player Soheil Peyghambari. Split in two parts and covering a total time of 34 minutes their improvised set, live recorded at Soda, Barcelona in February of 2k20, takes us deep into the realm of beautiful, floating and well retrofuturist SpaceAmbient / (Neo)Cosmic throughout the intro sequence of the first part before the first layers of non-electronic instrumentation emerge from the depths, leading towards a score'esque, yet more Contemporary Classical / Modern Classical compositional approach sprinkled with occasional, well lively influences of Jazz, especially when it comes to Peyghambari's take on his instrument and the noisier, noir'esque crescendo appearing later on before a new level of FreeJazz / Improv kicks in whereas "Möhit II" sees the triumvirate of artists gravitate towards a more solemn, mystical and cinematic variation of beautiful, free-floating Ambient improvisation.
