02. JStar meets Max Rubadub - Dem Nah Ready [JStar 031]
File under: tunage! Our man JStar, long time Dub / Reggae / bass activist, and Max Rubadub team up in the studio to bring us the biggest uptempo Steppa Dub anthem we've come across in years. A pure killer that calls for a rewind, no matter if you gonna play out the riddim version or the vocal cut featuring Crosby on microphone duties. Massive!

05. Various Artists [Innate 002]
The Innate crew did again. After a great start in 2018 the label is back with another various artists 12" EP, this time bringing on three tracks by the likes of A Sagittariun, Gilbert and Sean Dixon, all at home in the realm somewhat in between Intelligent Techno, classic motorcity arrangements and a playful, friendly and warm take on UK Techno vibes for highly advanced, intimate dancefloors. Essential.
06. Jay Mitta - Tatizo Pesa [Nyege Nyege Tapes]
One of the maddest records around these days and we even don't know how to classify this properly. African music, for sure. But beyond that? Imagine something like super hectic Shangaan Electro on a hyperspeed overdose, bringing forth ten tracks pressed on beautiful blue vinyl with most of them exceeding the magic 180 - 200 bpm mark by far. Is this the Speedcore variation of African dance music? For sure this is wicked stuff beyond any imagination!

08. Computer Controlled - Acid Again / The Modulator - Glamorous [Subsonic 006]
More technoid goodness from the Berlin-based Subsonic camp here. Computer Controlled bring forth a pumping, spiralling and tool'ish take on slightly Acid-infused, dark'ish Techno with their cut "Acid Again" whilst Freddy Fresh a.k.a. The Modulator goes a little further into these territories, providing a well thought out, ever evolving tool for underground bunker raves and fog-filled, strobe lit basement clubs.
09. Kay Barton - Macrogod [Emerald & Doreen Records 299]
When you purchase a record for one remix only. This time it's our man Mijk Van Dijk on remix duties on "Oh God", providing quite a sweet rework on B1, bringing a good portion of lively Acid synth modulations, a touch of deep (Neo)Trance meets TechHouse as well as that very special, slightly melancholic Mijk Van Dijk-feel which has been a staple in many of the Berlin-based producers releases over the course of his career.
10. Pedro Vian - Pedro Vian [Modern Obscure Music]
Twelve tracks of deep Ambient / Armchair Techno / Intelligent Techno on one album, with the last one named "Tribute To Ligeti" making the biggest of all possible impressions with a massive (Neo)Trance vibe bringing back the magic of the genres early days for those who've already been around in the first half of the 90s.
