02. C Cat Trance - Screaming Ghosts [Emotional Rescue Recordings / Malka Tuti]
Re-issues for the win. A great twelve track compilation presenting a selection of original C Cat Trance productions taken from releases put on the circuit via Ink Records in the years 1983 - 1988, including the epic and well recognized anthem "Shake The Mind" and classic tune "Rattling Ghosts" from which one of the most significant samples ever used in Jungle / Drum'n'Bass was taken. Overall, a massive fusion of partly instrumental PostPunk and Wave, Proto NuBeat, elements of Dub and loads of ethnic, especially arabian / oriental influences which remains unique, relevant and one of a kind up to this day.
03. Hellfish - Kildem [Deathchant Records 083]
With its 83th release Deathchant Records remains a well reliable force on the Hardcore circuit, combining hard punching drums and their deep, brutal trademark sound aesthetics with a more cheesy, uplifting and playful tongue-in-cheek attitude this time that's able to put a smile on every Hardcore ravers face, even in the darkest hours of the night.
04. Kenji Kawai - Ghost In The Shell (Original Soundtrack) [We Release Whatever The Fuck We Want Records 017]
Epic score is epic - even for those who haven't seen the movie or are not related to manga / anime culture. The first official vinyl release of the "Ghost In The Shell" soundtrack provides much more than the well known and oftentimes sampled choir bits which will be recognized by many but also great moments of classic Ambient music for those who like their ChillOut music on a deep and organic tip. Highly recommended.
05. Mella Dee - Woodlands EP [Warehouse Music 002]
Three untitled tracks on pink, stamped whitelabel vinyl here with whom Mella Dee brings back a distinct, high-octane Techno vibe with an ecstatic, looped Tribal Rave twist alongside ecstatic vocals on the A-side as well as more ravey vibes and even a twist of deep Acid Trance on the flip. Lovely.
06. Gundam [Goon Club Allstars 005]
File under: complex, instrumental Grime riddims with a well uplifting, positive attitude which are both kinda hard to play out due to their mid-range focused aesthetic and more Electronica-flavored vibe.
07. Various Artists - Mix The Vibe: Louie Vega Sampler EP 1 [King Street Sounds]
Did I mention before that I'm on an oldskool House tip these days? Four great tunes by Groove Box, Basil, Kerri Chandler and Blaze presents UDAUFL feat. Barbara Tucker are taking us back to a time as far as 1996 but also provide more contemporary vibes found in the mid-noughties. One for those who love their House organic, groove-oriented, partly vocal covered and most importantly sexy as hell.
08. Arketi-Ray - From Ever Since [Jahmoni Music]

09. Round One - I'm Your Brother [Main Street Records 002]
Classic House music is my jam these days and therefore it was about high time to finally add this DeepHouse masterpiece to my collection, one of the great, highly heart-felt and emotional tunes released via the Hard Wax / Rhythm & Sound / Basic Channel-camp back in the days and remixed by Ron Trent and Chez Damier on the flipside. Must have and still working well whenever played out.
10. Stein Urheim - Utopian Tales [Hubro Music]
