Released only a few days agao via Raketenbasis Haberlandstrasse is the tape album debut of 480Billion, an artist coming from the deepest vaults of the Soundcloud underground. With a whole bunch of twentythree tunes rolled out over the course of 60 minutes "Songiedas" seems to be the musical equivalent of the visual aesthetics of web punk, mashing up Jazz and Noize, dancing along to Lo-Fi Rave and fast-paced 8bit ItaloDisco as well as catering totally trashed out stereo experimentation, Angela Merkel-sampling SynthPop, Amen-heavy DarkJungle and even pure feedback and distortion attacks. Furthermore there's elements of Dada, MJ-citing Rhythm Industrial, bleeped out underground Techno, IDM, Space Ambient with score'esque qualities, Abstract Hardcore and an epic Drone meets Glockenspiel meets bird songs finale that, as this release as a whole, perfectly matches the labels leftfield, off-rules approach towards underground music.
