Shackleton - Remixes [Scape 055]

It's not the easiest job to deliver a remix for an artist like Shackleton, which managed not only to carve out a niche of his own in the wide field of electronic music but literally crafted a whole new (sub)genre - named MythStep - with his occasional releases. But the likes of Scaped Music were about to give that a try and now we see Pole's hands on "Shortwave", which is turned into one of his typical quirky Electronica vs. Dubstep-pieces based on a MythStep-feel, while Peverelist comes up with a rework of "You Bring Me Down" that is to be filed under the flag of Experimental Techno and defo working well on advanced dancefloors although the bassdrums sound a bit hollow and the musical structures differ from your usual Techno tune. But ain't this why it's called experimental?
