E.stonji – Particles E.P. [Phantomnoise Records 013 Testpress]

Lined for release on march 27th is E.stonji’s „Particles E.P.“ on Phantomnoise Records, actually the 13th release in the labels’ ten years of existence and somwhat the first official re-issue of formerly released tracks as all tracks featured here have been available digitally via Kitty Yo Digital since 2007. But as vinyl is still the first medium of choice, this one perfectly makes sense and it’s the A1 featured tune „Protn“ alone that makes the whole thing worth its price. Bringing the house down with an excellent mixture of Rave-attitude and Funkstörung’esque Electronica / IDM this one is what you call a primetime smasher, at least if a DJ has balls enough to play that out. Killer. All other tracks plus locked grooves well fit into that style too and are about to add some extra knots and twists to dancers legs as they’re packed with carefully spliced and atomized beat structures that’ll stimulate body and mind the same. Who again invented the term Braindance for this kind of music ???
